Boot Camp (2005)

Boot camp is just about the best thing we have ever done with the dogs. Jamie and Ann are not just extremely knowledgeable and willing to pass on this knowledge and experience but are also excellent with the dogs. I really wish we had had the opportunity to attend Boot Camp when we were first starting out because we learnt so much over the three days that we were there.

The range of activities was also impressive starting out with pull training, lots of slow passing with all the other teams, sacco cart training, socialisation, getting the dogs used to going through water, teaching the dogs to be calm at hook up.

We cannot recommend Boot Camp highly enough - this was a fantastic experience.

Maine Training - Kazlo Kennels (2005)

In October 2006 a whole host of friends (old and new) descended on the Kazlo Kennels of Mike and Tara Lemieux in Phillips, Maine for a weekend of training. This not only gave us the opportunity to get out and explore new trails (and sleep in the tent in sub zero conditions!!) but also gave many more opportunities for the dogs to interact with other teams, get more valuable socialisation and most importantly get in more practice at passing and being passed.
