After struggling through the winter of 2006/07 with just enough dogs available to make an eight dog team, and without any real experience of mid distance running, we decided we would like to bring in a couple of older dogs to help the rest of the team. As we began looking we were very fortunate to be offered Lewis by Scott and Corina Alexander of Kiana Kennels. Lewis had been running on Scott's A Team but both Scott and Corina felt Lewis would be better suited to longer distances - we jumped at the chance to bring this guy on board. Lewis is a really sweet natured boy and gets on very well with the rest of the kennel. Much more than that however Mr Lewis is showing drive, commitment and (most importantly) desire all in equal measure. His strength and reliability make him a first choice pick. To meet Lewis is to love Lewis!!
