Cal is developing into a very handsome and hard working boy. He is a real character around the kennel whether trying to use his (lack of) height to boss around the bigger dogs or just being a mischievous scamp whenever we are around. As his first winter progressed we have seen Cal become more and more focused on his running; he is always the first to change gait, his willingness to run is impressive. He finished off the winter by leading out a couple of fourteen dog teams and his focus on the trail ahead and understanding of the mushers desires was (virtually) unwavering. Cal's good looks and excellent structure have already seen him collect 4 show points towards his Canadian Championship.
