Antigone has made a really good start to the 2009/2010 winter season. On a 'gut' feeling we moved her up to lead just to see how she would react and she has been a real revelation. She has not only shown great drive, confidence and maturity when at the front of the team but is displaying a great deal of intelligence and an understanding of the mushers' desires. She is even starting to 'assist' the more experienced leaders in ensuring they get their directions right. We are really looking forward to see how she develops as a leader.
